Jamaica’s Digital Education Pilot Supports Teacher Skills Development

Jamaica’s digital transformation programme for education entered its pilot phase across 54 selected schools, according to UNESCO’s 29 October 2026 announcement. The initiative involves UNESCO, UNICEF, FAO and WFP and places teachers and school leaders at the centre of testing digital tools and improving technology-supported teaching and decision-making; no separate training budget was disclosed.
